R.E.A.L. Ministries Defined
Every ministry has to have a name, something that identifies it and gives it meaning and purpose. For years we were just “the marriage ministry”. Recently we’ve changed that and come up with something different: R.E.A.L. Ministries. The understanding of R.E.A.L. is two-fold. It is found in the word itself, and in the acronym.
The acronym R.E.A.L. stands for Relationships Experiencing Agape Love.
In short, when our understanding of love and marriage comes into contact with and experiences, the Source of Love and Marriage, transformation happens. When relationships experience agape love, God’s Love, there is REAL change and REAL transformation.
The word itself defines our approach to ministry. God desires marriage to be REAL. He desires authentic marriages that are: transparent, open and honest.
When God comes into your life and is part of the marriage covenant; He doesn’t want a marriage that is clothed with sin, fear and shame. Nor does he want a marriage environment where one cannot come openly and honestly before their spouse. That is an environment that cannot experience true healing and growth. God desires a REAL marriage; one that is REAL with God and with each other.
Seven Principles to an Authentic Marriage Relationship:
In this session we will be covering the following principles: Honesty, Commitment, Humility, Love, Communication, Loyalty, and Trust. Come out and be blessed, we look forward to welcoming you.
Cost: Childcare love offering; at the end of each session we make a small collection from any one who can, and it is given to the child care provider for that evening, it is not required but greatly appreciated.
Jackie and Joe Montalvo, the leaders of this ministry have set up office hours for every Friday night between the hours of 7 PM to 9PM. where they offer couples mentoring services on a more intimate level.
